Here's what some friends are telling me. It's true that the covid numbers associated with going out to the club's and bars are very low, but it's because the bars and clubs have been doing a very good job of following safety practices. No one I've talked to give any support to the claims regarding the mayor.

Interesting story. Thanks for sharing. They did mention that Taiwan offers rewards to mainland Chinese pilots to defect. I dont know if they still do, but at one point, it was about USD$1 MM to defect with a certain type of plane.

Twitter links never seem to work for me. Maybe I need to be signed in to see them (which I won't, since I don't have a Twitter account).

It will just add a layer of cost, nothing will go away. The national insurance will be terrible so we, who can afford it, will still purchase supplemental insurance. Just like now. The question is why bother? Everyone who wants insurance now has it.
